Miyabi Nagumo

The vice president of the student council belonging to Class A. He became the student council president in Volume 6 of the first-year arc. His tone is light, but he often makes confident statements and takes a challenging stance even towards his senior, Gaku. His arrogance is noticeable beyond his confidence, and he has a misogynistic side, referring to female students he brought into the student council as his "possessions." On the other hand, he appreciates students with the strength to oppose him, finding them interesting. However, he values those who, rather than having high pride, are willing to discard their pride to use others to rise to the top. Originally a student from Class B, he rose to Class A on his own, making Ichinose admire and set him as a goal. He claims that once he becomes the student council president, he will turn the school into one of ultimate meritocracy, but the specifics of his reforms are currently unknown. He describes the current school system as lenient for not expelling many students, and Gaku fears that if his policies are implemented, it will result in an unprecedented number of expulsions. In the current third year, he has easily succeeded in a highly difficult strategy of controlling not only his own Class A but all classes, something even Arisu, Ichinose, and Ryuuen could not achieve. Regarding his relationships with women, it can be inferred from phone conversations with female classmates that he acts quite freely.

Character Design

According to Tomose, Nagumo was a difficult and complex character to draw, and he aimed to portray a "handsome guy who seems to be harboring various things inside."
