Haruki Yamauchi

Ike, along with Sudou, is part of a group of male students known as the "Three Idiots Trio" by some. He lacks outstanding abilities and has a habit of exaggerating himself by lying to others. He harbors feelings for his classmate Airi.

Even as his fellow "Class D's Three Idiots" members Sudou and Ike show mental growth, he remains unchanged, repeating childish behavior. In the additional class vote held in February, his past actions and his involvement in a scheme with Arisu to gather criticism votes against Ayanokōji were exposed, leading to his nomination by Horikita as a candidate for expulsion. In an attempt to avoid expulsion, he sought help from Arisu but was easily discarded by her, resulting in his expulsion.

Voice Actor's Performance and Role Preparation

Iwanaka, who plays the role of Haruki Yamauchi, revealed that until the second season, the production team instructed him to portray the character as "stupid in a different way from Ike." However, in the third season, the instructions changed to "We want Yamauchi to be hated by the whole world, so please make him more of a scumbag."

Evaluation

Writer Haru no Oto commented on Haruki Yamauchi's actions in episode 4 of the TV anime "Classroom of the Elite 3rd Season," stating that while his actions are somewhat off-putting even in the real world, they also make one think, "There are people like this in reality, aren't there?"
