Hinata Hino

A classmate of Yukiteru at Umezakura Middle School. A girl who speaks in a Kansai dialect. She becomes Yukiteru's "first friend." She is the daughter of the 10th Future Diary holder. Believing her father's words about wanting to rewind time and start over as a family, she receives the "Breeding Diary" and a dog from him and attempts to kill Aru, who is targeting her father. She takes Yukiteru hostage and challenges Aru to a "bet," but loses. Later, she is cornered by Yuno but is saved by Yukiteru's persuasion.

When Yukiteru goes missing with Yuno, she joins the search out of gratitude and apology for the previous battle. She also participates in the fight against the 7th but is injured by Ai's knife throw. However, by the time of the battle against the 11th, she is almost fully recovered. She cooperates with Akise, who is protecting the 8th, and is shot dead by Yukiteru.

Later, as a Future Diary holder, her diary is the "Friendship Diary," which records her interactions with friends.

In the third world, she is depicted walking happily with her parents.
