Justus

A senior noble serving as Ferdinand's attendant. The son of Richarda. Among the eccentric nobles of Ehrenfest, he is an exceptional oddball. He is a free spirit who enjoys gathering information and materials, willing to go anywhere for his interests. He even disguises himself to blend in with the commoners or servants to obtain information. To gather intel on the women's faction tea parties, he sometimes disguises himself as his own sister, Gudrun. He is also an excellent civil officer, accompanying Rozemyne as a tax officer to observe her and interacting with the merchants of the lower town. He seems to have combat skills as well, sometimes acting as a substitute guard knight for Ferdinand, who has few reliable attendants, or being taken along to Ferdinand's marriage to Ahrensbach, where those unable to protect themselves should not be taken. He collects all sorts of information regardless of its accuracy but does not consider how to use it himself, which led to him forcibly offering his name to become Ferdinand's retainer for the purpose of effectively utilizing the information. In the first chapter of the OVA side story, he is ordered by Ferdinand, along with Eckhart, to investigate information about Myne, who is to become a shrine maiden apprentice.
