A knight serving under Cruhteo, Vlad is 44 years old. He despises ranged weapons as "vulgar," and takes pride in fighting solely with a sword during Kataphrakt battles. Acting on Cruhteo's orders, he attacks Inaho Kaizuka and his group at the port. However, in their first confrontation, his unit is severely damaged due to Inaho's strategy of utilizing the port’s gantry crane, allowing Inaho to escape.
Seeking to restore his honor, Vlad decides to ignore the Martian side's ceasefire and attacks the assault landing ship "Wadatsumi." Yet, he falls into another of Inaho's clever traps and is sent plunging into the sea along with his machine. Subsequently, Vlad is caught in a steam explosion triggered by Argyre's beam saber, and loses his life during the battle.
