Toa

Toa is an adventurer who used to be strong in her country but found herself powerless in a lawless wasteland. She is on a quest to recover a legendary dagger that her ancestor carried in a battle against a mighty dragon, hoping to restore her family's honor. Though she hit rock bottom due to debt and cruel hardships, Toa survived and was saved by Makoto Misumi’s group. Now, she is recovering, training to improve her fighting style, and has become a key member of her team. Her story is one of resilience and transformation.

Toa closely resembles Makoto Misumi’s high school archery club junior, Nukuimi Hasegawa, except for different hair and eye colors. Her appearance is unique but grounded in a realistic, familiar look, which makes her stand out among other adventurers.

Toa is dedicated and determined, always aiming to restore her family's honor. After facing harsh challenges, she has developed resilience but also struggles with being a bit careless about money. In the manga, she is shown to waste money on unnecessary things, which sometimes causes trouble for her.

Toa’s ancestor once fought a top-ranked dragon called Shink, known as "the Invincible," carrying a dagger recognized as a divine weapon. To reclaim this family heirloom and clear her family's name, Toa ventured into the notorious wasteland known as the Edge of the World.

Back in her homeland, she was a capable adventurer (level 120), but her skills did not match the harsh realities in the wasteland. Despite losing her teammates, weapons, and armor, she still accepted dangerous jobs, hoping to survive and succeed.

Toa is a "Shadow Thief," skilled in stealth and theft. While she was considered talented in her country, her abilities were nearly useless when she arrived in the wasteland, where danger is far greater. She is now being trained in better combat strategies, learning to fight more cleverly and not rely only on her stats or brute strength.

Fall into Hardship

Toa entered the wasteland, borrowing money to buy better weapons and armor. Sadly, she lost everything and could not complete any job to pay back her debts.

She was forced into becoming a drugged-out prostitute as payment for her debts. Abused and broken by the rough treatment, she soon became worn out and no longer useful to her captors.

Rescue and Recovery

In the end, Toa was about to be used in cruel experiments and rendered unable to move by drugs. At that moment, Makoto Misumi and his party rescued her.

Mio Misumi used her powers to heal Toa, freeing her from the effects of all the drugs and restoring her health. After the town of the wasteland, her base, was destroyed, Toa moved to a new city, Zweige.

New Beginning

Now, as she recovers and trains with Tomoe Misumi and others, Toa takes on work as an adventurer. She aims to break away from the human tendency to solely rely on stats and brute force.

With her perseverance and growth, she becomes a leading member of the Zweige adventurers’ party.

Toa is now part of Makoto Misumi’s trusted group. She looks up to Tomoe Misumi for combat training and relies on Mio Misumi for support and healing.
