Stigma: Kaito's stigma effect is that he can see auras, being able to sense people's emotions and see things that are invisible to others. He mentions that he couldn't control it, even if he said his incantation. His incantation is Opsi.
Special Artifact: His artifact seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to hitting its targets. This is shown in Episode 9, where though he fires at the anomaly, the arrow heads for the glowing red headstone, instead.
Kaito Fuji (歩二 魁斗 Fuji Kaito) is a second year student at Darkwick Academy and is a member of the Frostheim House.
A trend-chasing social media enthusiast, Kaito works hard to fit in with the Frostheim elites despite his modest upbringing, but his efforts are overshadowed by his tendency to be a gutless coward.
Kaito has dark hair dyed blond in an undercut, as well as teal eyes, and freckles. He wears a ring on his left thumb, as well as mismatched hoop earrings — silver on the left and gold on the right — as well as his most prized possession, a silver necklace given to him by his grandmother.
He wears the Frostheim uniform with the top button unbuttoned and tie slightly loose.
Kaito is energetic and outgoing but hesitant to be in the spotlight, though this can typically be overcome when a girl is present.
He is empathetic and cowardly, and is shown to be insecure as he constantly compares himself to Lucas and apologizes to MC frequently.
He is social online and tends to chase trends, though he struggles to form relationships with people outside of it.
Kaito was born and raised in Tokyo by his grandma. At one point, his grandmother gifted him the pendant he currently wears.
In Episode 9, Romeo digs up a grave with an expensive but nameless headstone, and finds a bracelet with the same insignia on Kaito's pendant, remarking that he must be right about the pendant being special. In Episode 13, it is revealed that his pendant once belonged to the globally renowned family of the House of Ardici.
In Episode 20, it is revealed that Kaito's grandmother was the one who adopted him, and refuses to tell him what happened to his parents.
At some point, his grandmother grew ill and was revealed to have developed cancer. After deciding to go hang out with his classmates rather than check up on her in the hospital, Kaito grew guilty and decided to run straight back home, only to be greeted by a pot of curry with his grandmother's note on it.
Not long after, she passed away, but before she did, her last words were her uttering Kaito's name. The nurse also tells Kaito to hang on to the pendant his grandmother gifted him, as she had noted it would protect him.
