She found out that doing well in Sensha-dō could excuse her tardiness, so she reluctantly decided to continue.
Growth Through Sensha-dō
After joining Sensha-dō, her ability to wake up early got a little better but she stayed lazy during the day.
Even so, she always showed great talent in tank driving.
Mako could hop between tanks and learn how to drive just by looking at them.
No matter how tired, she was quick to follow orders and help her team win.

While Mako doesn't show much emotion, she is deeply loyal.
When she thought her grandmother was sick, she was very worried and emotional.
When her tardiness was about to cause her to repeat the year, her friends also helped her keep going.

Mako changed her elective to Sensha-dō for the bonus credits and to have her tardiness erased.
