He is considered to possess combat ability on par with Hamsuke, a renowned beast under Ainz Ooal Gown.

Despite this, Gu is ultimately outmatched by Ainz and later reduced to an undead servant.

Gu is extremely arrogant and self-important.

He believes that his strength places him above most other beings and behaves in a domineering manner.

He has very poor judgment and is not particularly intelligent.

His lack of strategic thinking leads him to underestimate opponents and rush into disadvantageous battles.

He clings to a peculiar creed: “Short names are proof of strength.”

Because of this belief, he mocks Ainz Ooal Gown for having a "long and weak" name, assuming Ainz must be inferior.

Gu is also notoriously stubborn and refuses to admit defeat even when clearly outclassed.
