Principal Kuno

Principal of Furinkan High School. He is also a martial artist and a practitioner of the Kuno-style clipper technique. He is the biological father of the Kuno siblings. His real name is unknown, and he is simply referred to as the Principal in the credits of the series and anime version, but the original author, Rumiko Takahashi, calls him Principal Kuno. He possesses the ability to hold his own against Ranma, and Takahashi explains this by saying, "The Principal is strong because he is the Principal." Having gone to Hawaii for three years on an educational inspection, he is obsessed with Hawaii. He dresses in a manner unbefitting a principal, wearing an aloha shirt and shorts while carrying a ukulele. His laughter is "HAHAHA."
