Youko Satou

Youko Satou is described as very beautiful.

She often appears relaxed but gives off an aura of strength and confidence.

Despite her looks, she frequently drinks to excess, especially during her time off.

Youko is extremely cheerful, bold, and enjoys drinking alcohol a lot.

She is known for being amazingly good at drinking and can outdrink almost anyone.

Her sense of humor shows when she likes to see men who act tough collapse after drinking with her.

She gets excited seeing their “cool” images fall apart, and sometimes narrates their downfall in her mind for fun.

Despite acting as Fable’s younger sister, her feelings toward him are never romantic, mostly because of Fable’s unshakable strong mind.

Both Youko and Fable were taken in as children and given harsh, special training to become part of the assassin group called The Fable.

She received her current name when they were ordered by their boss to take a year’s vacation and live as normal people.

From then on, she pretended to be Fable’s sister and they spent time together.

At first, she complained about having to play the little sister role, but eventually, she came to see Fable like her real sibling.

Youko is a highly skilled fighter, able to defeat professional killers as long as they are not from The Fable’s own ranks.

She is also incredibly good at remembering things quickly, almost like taking “mental snapshots.”

While she is very capable in a fight, she sometimes lacks experience compared to Fable.

For example, she was beaten by someone less skilled but with more real-life experience.

She can use guns very well but hesitated to actually kill, showing her inexperience in taking a life.

She once could not shoot Yamaka because she had never killed before.

Despite this, she has used guns in battle and is a very sharp shot.

Youko and Fable share a close relationship, acting as brother and sister during their break from active missions.

People around them believe in their sibling relationship because of how naturally they act together.

She often calls Fable “big brother.”

Youko also cannot develop romantic feelings for Fable, as he never shows vulnerability.

She once developed a fatherly crush on a company president, seeing her own father in him rather than actual love.

Becoming Partners

About a year before the main story, Youko started working as Fable’s driver and partner.

When their boss gives them a year’s break, they must live by new names and pretend to be siblings.

Life During the Break

Youko enjoys her year off by drinking every day and setting a goal to find a handsome boyfriend.

But her amazing drinking ability ends up scaring off every new guy she meets; she drinks them all under the table and makes fun of their defeated, embarrassed state.

Struggles and Growth

Even though Youko is strong, she still loses fights because she doesn't have as much experience as Fable.

She can't bring herself to kill, even if the situation calls for it.

Sometimes she acts recklessly out of emotion, like when she cannot stop herself from going after Yamaka for revenge despite warnings.

Emotional Side

Youko is sometimes immature in her feelings.

She once confused her emotions for romantic love but was actually experiencing a longing for a father figure.

Youko Satou appears in the anime Love Live! Sunshine!! as a teacher.

She is also in the mobile game Love Live! School Idol Festival as a support character.

Her game card is ranked SR and has a Neutral (purple) attribute.

She gives more experience points than normal characters when used for training in the game.
