Rion Nanami

Rion Nanami is a young woman with a notably large bust, which is often mentioned by students.

She wears the standard school staff attire when teaching, but has also been seen in a school swimsuit.

Her friendly and approachable look helps her connect easily with students.

Rion is easygoing and sometimes a little scatterbrained.

She tends to go along with others’ ideas and rarely objects, even during big decisions like Shouko Sashinami's proposal for independence.

She doesn’t always answer important questions directly and can appear evasive.

Despite this, she has a kind heart and eventually becomes more responsible, driven by a strong sense of duty.

Rion serves as a health and physical education student teacher at Sakimori Academy in JIOR, a neutral country.

She is one of the very few adults left with the students after the crisis, and, as the only civilian teacher, stands out among mostly official personnel.

According to Takumi Kibukawa, she was allowed at the academy only for appearances' sake.

When Figaro, a senator, needed a public leader, Rion was chosen almost by default due to lack of other adults.

Rion does not possess special combat skills or powers.

Her strengths are her warmth, her willingness to support her students, and her ability to step up when needed.

After the first attack by Dorssia, Rion Nanami is among the few adults left in Module 77.

Though she didn't seek leadership, she is assigned as the acting head by Figaro.

Facing Responsibility

When Aina Sakurai passes away, Rion feels it is wrong to let students clean up and cleans the blood herself.

This marks a turning point, making her realize the importance of caring for others.

Wanting the voice of the students to be heard, she suggests holding an election for the new leader.

She runs for the position herself, promising to properly serve if chosen.

Handing Over Leadership

After the election, she gives the position of representative to Shouko Sashinami and becomes Minister of Welfare for the new government.

Later Events and Growth

In "2nd Season," Rion stays behind in Module 77 as others go to Earth.

When a tragedy strikes at Sakimori Academy, she urges the students to escape.

She gets injured and has to rest, but returns during the mission to reclaim Module 77.

During a moment of suspicion among the students, Rion suggests they talk things through with Haruto Tokishima, showing her growth as a leader who helps reunite everyone.
