In Episode 32, she expresses a connection to non-wolf animals, calling them “comrades,” even as she unleashes chaos.

Increasing Emotional Struggle

By Episode 34, Zakuro is seen being attacked by boss cats—even though she tries to show affection to them—indicating a softer side.

Episode 36 shows her longing for love, seeking out romance on the beach, becoming jealous of couples, and in a comedic twist, tries to flirt with Satoru Usayama, only to help him have a happy ending with someone else.

Longing, Doubt, and Change

Episodes 39-41 highlight her growing attachment to Gaoh and dismay at being unable to please him.

She is jealous even over other wolves who aren’t Gaoh and tries to prove her worth.

Despite her tough act, Zakuro is deeply affected by the kindness displayed by humans and the Precure.

In Episode 46, she is moved by Yuki and the others, who invite her to join their Christmas party, sparking memories of her fellow wolves and her lost world.

Episode 47 is a turning point, as Precure members encourage Zakuro to accept her feelings and embrace the goodness she has inside.

She finally admits that what she truly wants is not destruction, but for Gaoh and her friends to be happy.

The Revelation and Redemption

In Episode 48, it is revealed that Gaoh is actually Subaru, the kind boy who once cared for the wolves.

Zakuro always knew his secret and confesses she has always cared for him.

Moved by the Precure’s determination and kindness, Zakuro decides to trust them and helps stop Subaru from continuing the cycle of hatred.

The Resolution

In the last episodes, with Animal Town overrun by Gaogaon wolves, Zakuro tries desperately to reach Subaru, urging him to stop hurting himself and others for wolves’ sake.

Ultimately, she regains her true wolf form and bids a heartfelt farewell to her friends as she returns to the afterlife, grateful for the love, forgiveness, and new bonds she found.
