Rika is a girl from Shells Town who has a strong will and is known for her preference for sweet flavors in her cooking. One of her signature styles is adding sugar to her rice balls. Her birthday is June 18.
One day, Rika was nearly attacked by a stray wolf in town, but was saved by Zoro Roronoa. Wanting to express her gratitude, she later brought rice balls to Zoro after he was captured.
Afterwards, due to the actions of Luffy D. Monkey and his friends, Morgan was overthrown. Rika became friends with Koby, who started working at the Navy base, and reconciled with Helmeppo, who had previously been an enemy. When they were transferred to Navy Headquarters, Rika was saddened by her inability to say goodbye to them, and she vented her emotions at the person who brought the news.
In the New World arc, Rika works as an apprentice server at the Navy base, where her mildly sweet curry has become extremely popular.
