Like Iharu, his combat power fluctuates significantly with emotional changes, a condition known as "Flash Adapter." He was a contemporary and rival of Hikari Shinomiya, and her death still leaves him with a great sense of loss, which has strengthened his resolve to watch over and nurture the younger generation.
