Fifteen years after the war between humanity on Mars and Earth, in the year 2014, Princess Aseliam Vers Aliuscia of Mars visits Earth as part of peace negotiations. During a goodwill parade, she becomes missing and presumed dead due to a terrorist attack. This incident reignites the war between Earth and Mars.
Amidst the chaos, a high school student from Earth, Inaho Kaizuka, uses his calm demeanor and strategic mind to fend off the oncoming Martian Cataphracts alongside his friends. During this tumultuous time, Inaho encounters a mysterious girl. Meanwhile, a boy from Earth, Slaine Troyard, who serves as a knight on Mars, learns the truth behind the assassination attempt on Aseliam and begins to take action.
As the war intensifies, the wishes of the three young individuals—Princess Aseliam, who yearns for peace, Inaho, who fights to protect his friends, and Slaine, who pledges his loyalty to Aseliam—intertwine. Approximately nine months after the war between Earth and Mars comes to an end, Inaho finds himself face-to-face once again with Slaine in a detention facility.
