One of the top middle blockers in Tokyo. Highly regarded for his skillful jump serves and spikes, as well as his trained receiving ability. An adept user of read-blocking, he is often mentioned as a master of close-up read-blocking. He has a sense of responsibility that allows him to manage his teammates well, earning their trust. He offers advice to juniors like Haiba and Tsukishima from Karasuno, and he is known for being caring, friendly, and helpful.
