Nana Nishigaki

She is a science teacher who always wears a lab coat. She has a carefree personality, unaffected by tardiness or punishments from the principal, yet she is highly trusted by her students.

Her interest in becoming a science teacher (or rather, in conducting explosive experiments) was sparked when she accidentally caused a light bulb to explode by plugging it into an outlet during a science experiment in elementary school. Since then, she has adopted the motto "Explosions are the foundation of success."

She can communicate with Rize and understand what Rize wants to say. She often conducts dangerous experiments that result in explosions and other accidents, which leads to her being scolded by the principal and banned from using the science room, causing her to show up in the student council room.

She is currently looking for an "explosion buddy" to join her in experiments, and often uses Rize as a subject for testing suspicious chemicals. Her experiments, such as attempting to fly off the school roof, are quite bold and dangerous, worrying Rize, but even when the experiments fail, she remains unharmed and energetic.

She is elusive and hard to grasp, but she shows a side of herself that is usually hidden, such as being exasperated or fed up with her colleague, Mr. Higashi.
