Alois Trancy

The current head of the Trancy household, a beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed young man born on November 5, 1874. Commonly referred to as "Master." He was believed to have been kidnapped and gone missing shortly after birth, but one day he returned with Claude, succeeding his father as the head of the household.

His personality is generally cheerful, and he places absolute trust in Claude, but he also has a cruel side, such as looking down on others besides Claude and gouging out Hannah's left eye, as well as a fragility that fears loneliness and darkness. On his tongue is a yellow reverse pentacle, the sign of his contract with Claude.

His real name is Jim Macken. He is not the biological child of the Earl of Trancy but was a wealthy child from a village. After the death of his parents, he and his younger brother, Luka, were oppressed by the villagers, which led him to hate them. After losing his village and Luka through Hannah's hands (which was also his wish), he was taken in as a male prostitute by the Trancy family, where he managed to become adopted by manipulating the Earl of Trancy. Afterward, he made a contract with Claude, who aimed to mature his soul through the "wish" of the contractor, and was convinced by Claude that Sebastian, who Claude aimed to take revenge on, had killed his brother. After the Earl's death and inheriting everything from Trancy, he aimed to take Ciel, whom Sebastian was obsessed with, for revenge.

Due to a secret agreement between Sebastian and Claude, he was mistakenly believed by Ciel to be his avenger, leading to a duel with Ciel in which he was defeated and fatally wounded. In the end, he confessed his love for Claude out of fear of loneliness, but Claude, disillusioned by his appearance, killed him. Claude then extracted his soul to fulfill his own desire for Ciel's soul and sealed it in the Trancy family ring, blurring his memories with Ciel's.

However, Hannah had taken Alois's eyes into her body immediately after his death, and the consciousness that awoke within Ciel's body under Hannah's care took control of it. While Sebastian and Claude fought over Ciel's soul in the rose maze created in the Trancy estate's garden by his own consciousness, Hannah revealed the whole truth to him, and he accepted a contract with Hannah, who confessed her love for Alois and Luka. Out of jealousy towards Ciel and a desire for revenge against Claude, who had betrayed him, he made a contract with Hannah to "resurrect Ciel as a demon" so that neither Sebastian nor Claude could obtain Ciel's soul, regardless of who won.

After Claude was defeated and died on the island of death, he offered his soul to Hannah, and in the end, he obtained the love of Luka, Claude, and Hannah.
