Robota is a hacker who always wears a robot helmet and is obsessed with being the number one hacker. He acts childish and often overestimates himself. Robota works for Shinji Yoshimatsu to try to get rid of Walnut and also tries to get Majima interested in Chisato Nishikigi. He is good at hacking cars and battles online, though he is clearly not as skilled as Walnut. Even when his plans fail, Robota stays confident, making him seem like a small-time villain. In the end, he is outsmarted and gets caught, never showing his real face.
Robota always hides his face under an old-style robot helmet.
The helmet has a lamp on top that lights up depending on his feelings.
His true face is never shown in the show, but it appears in a special art book.
Robota acts like a child and really wants to be seen as the best hacker in the world.
He gets upset when others are better than him, especially Walnut.

Shinji Yoshimatsu calls him an "easy tool" to use.
Robota works in the criminal underworld and calls himself the world's greatest hacker.
He joins Shinji Yoshimatsu from the Alan Institute to take out Walnut, hoping this will make him famous.

Even so, most people think Robota is still a strong hacker, just not the very top.

Working with Yoshimatsu and Hacking Walnut
Robota takes a job from Shinji Yoshimatsu to eliminate Walnut, hoping to become the number one hacker.
His plan fails because Chisato Nishikigi and others at Lycoris Recoil interfere.
Still, Robota thinks he succeeded and is happy to call himself Japan’s top hacker.
Trying to Win Over Majima
After trying to work with Majima, Robota’s pushy style annoys him.
Robota tries hard to convince Majima, finally suggesting a plan to hunt down Lycoris and track their main base.
The security on Lycoris devices turns out to be stronger than Robota expected, and the plan fails.
Majima’s trust almost breaks, and Robota is almost shot.
Supporting Majima's Attacks
Robota manages to get Majima interested in Chisato Nishikigi and begins to help with more cyber attacks, like causing fake bomb threats through a main computer.
His support helps Majima for a short while, but Walnut’s skills always outshine his.
Robota’s Downfall
Later, Robota uses secret backdoor access to take over computers, helping Majima broadcast a message to the city.
He sets up the backdoor through a police computer during an attack by Majima, which was a risky move.
Eventually, Walnut survives and hacks into Robota’s systems, taking over his broadcasts and leading the police to him.
Robota is easily captured, and his real face is never shown, except in a special character book.
Robota never shows his true face in the anime. His face is only shown as a reference in the Lycoris Recoil Heroine Archive book.
