Takehisa Hinawa

The company commander of Special Fire Force Company 8. Age 28. Height 180cm. Birthday is September 23rd. A former member of the Tokyo Imperial Armed Forces and a second generation power user. He mainly adjusts the explosive power of gunpowder in firearms, and controls bullet speed, trajectory, and ricochet. He can freely adjust the power of bullets, increasing their destructive force or, conversely, reducing their power to the extent that they only knock someone unconscious.

He wears glasses and has a calm and composed personality. He is good at cooking. He also took on the role of an engineer until Vulcan joined. He has been tough on Shinra, who had just joined, confronting him with suspicions of joining for scoring points due to past incidents, and extinguishing a fireball mascot created by Maki, criticizing it as "firefighters shouldn't play with fire." Additionally, he always wears different hats, which are eccentric in style. According to him, "the shop assistant makes me buy the leftovers."

During his military service, he has a bitter experience of not being able to rest a colleague who turned into an Infernal himself. His favorite gun is a memento from this colleague. Later, he met Akitaru during his time as an ordinary firefighter at the scene of an Infernal disaster. Doubting the attitude of the special fire forces at the scene, they broke the restrictions together to rest the souls, and bonded over the experience. Later, he was scouted by Akitaru when he founded Company 8.
