Hotaru Shidare

She is the heiress of the major confectionery company "Shidare Company". She is a beautiful girl with semi-long silver hair, tall and glamorous figure, but she often shows strange behavior due to her strong love for cheap sweets, a so-called "unfortunate beauty". Her dream is to create the world's number one confectionery manufacturer by herself.

Originally, she came from the city to poach the famous Yō in the confectionery industry to her company, but upon receiving Yō's intention not to leave the store until Kokonotsu takes over, she takes various measures to have Kokonotsu take over the store for her own sake. She stays in a Japanese-style mansion built by her father for long-term stays, but disappears from Kokonotsu and the others from the end of summer vacation until winter. When they meet again, she has a stronger desire for independence, and is plotting to start her own company and get Kokonotsu to join it.

Basically, she wears a hairband with a black rose decoration, a white blouse and a black high-waist skirt, but there are multiple blouses and skirts with different patterns and tailoring, and her outfit is subtly different each time. This outfit was decided by the author who thought "I want to wear cute clothes that are a little different" when she saw a gothic lolita magazine and thought "it looks better with more lines".

When it comes to cheap sweets, she talks in an unusually high tension and over-action, and shows remarkable action, but often causes trouble because she goes too far. Her favorite type of man is Potchi-kun, the mascot of potato fries.
