A monk affiliated with Seijou Temple, Rijin holds the highest rank of "West Hall," responsible for overseeing education. After his students violated Article 10 of the Forbidden Acts, he sealed their cantus abilities. Later, while leading the students towards Seijou Temple, he encounters a horde of invasive monster rats. During this encounter, he is caught in the suicide attack of a balloon dog and loses his life.
