The blond man who was at the Dutch consulate with Guell. He delivered Saya's medallion to Kaioh. He was heading to the site with Santou, but when they encountered Saya and the others, Santou, fearing the failure of their plan, shot Ersten. Since Saya protected him, Santou was defeated by Sanosuke. Immediately after, he challenged Sanosuke but was defeated.
