A blond man who was together with Guell at the Dutch Consulate makes his appearance. He was in charge of delivering Saya's Medallion to Kaioh. While heading to the location with Santou Shotani, they encounter Saya and her group. Fearing that their plan might fail, Santou Shotani shoots Ersten, but Saya shields him. As a result, Santou Shotani is defeated by Sagara Sanosuke. The blond man then challenges Sagara Sanosuke as well, but he too is defeated.
