Oumime

She is an employee of Aoiya and is usually called "Ochika." Normally, she wears her hair tied up, but during combat she unties it and lets it down. She skillfully uses kunai-shaped shuriken, and like Hannya and Misao Makimachi, is also a practitioner of the Oniwabanshu style martial arts. Because of this, she is more than capable of easily handling elite members among Shishio's regular subordinates. She fell in love at first sight with Hiko Seijūrō and stayed by his side.

In the first anime series, she, together with Aoshi Shinomori and Masukami, came from Kyoto to pick up Misao Makimachi. In the re-drawn version in Volume 22 of the Complete Edition, the orientation of her headband matches the aforementioned characters, and her hairstyle is changed to a semi-long cut parted to the right.
