The de facto leader of the circus troupe, whose act is the clown, Joker, and who also serves as the master of ceremonies. He is always cheerful and reliable. When performing as a clown, he speaks with a Kyoto dialect accent. His right arm is a skeletal prosthetic, which doesn’t hinder his juggling skills, and he has a dagger hidden in the forearm. He lived as a street child along with Beast due to his physical disability and was saved by Kelvin, whom he calls father and feels a deep gratitude towards. Following Kelvin's orders, he has been involved in the widespread child kidnapping cases in Britain, secretly despising Kelvin's perverse nature while trying to protect the brothers at the orphanage (unaware that the orphanage had already fallen victim to Kelvin's schemes).

He welcomes Ciel along with the baron to the Kelvin estate. Later, he attacks Ciel for shooting Kelvin, who was trying to reenact a black mass, but Sebastian cuts off his left arm, rendering him unable to fight. Despite this, he pleads for Kelvin's life, only to be brutally killed. Before dying from excessive bleeding, he learns about the true nature of his teacher and the source of his prosthetic limbs, leaving him in despair.
