Shimamura Imouto is a fourth-grade elementary school student whose name has not been revealed. At school, she is known as an honor student, but she is also strongly shy, which makes her wary of Sakura Adachi when Adachi visits the Shimamura household. Since Adachi is also shy, she is able to understand Shimamura Imouto’s feelings.
When she first encountered Yashiro Chikama, she was cautious around her. However, later she started calling Yashiro “Yachii,” and while she is often surprised by Yashiro's actions, she comes to enjoy spending time and playing together with her. She has also had a single encounter with Yashiro’s so-called “Doho” and has told Yashiro about her experience.
She is a character from the light novel “Adachi and Shimamura.”
As Shimamura Imouto, her real name is unknown. She is referred to as “Shou-san” by Yashiro Chikama, but this is not related to her given name; it is a nickname meaning “Shimamura (small).” She wears her short black hair tied on the right side of her head.
She is shy and quickly becomes silent when meeting someone new. Because her personality is somewhat similar, Hougetsu Shimamura often compares her to Sakura Adachi. She calls Yashiro Chikama “Yachii,” who in turn calls her “Shou-san,” and the two often spend time together.
Shimamura Imouto does not have a favorable opinion of Sakura Adachi's attempts to get close to Hougetsu Shimamura.
