Yasui

A middle-aged detective who, along with Takai, is in charge of the investigation. He has a relatively gentle personality and prefers persuasive methods. In the climax of the story, during the scene at the abandoned building in Yoyogi, while Takai and the others surround Hodaka Morishima with their guns drawn, this detective alone lowers his gun, holding it ready but not aiming. However, when Hodaka Morishima heads toward the emergency staircase, he also raises his gun and takes aim.
