Takigi Oze holds the rank of second lieutenant in the Tokyo Empire Military Criminal Investigation Division.

He is the elder brother of Maki Oze and is very protective of her.

Because of this protectiveness, he strongly resents Takehisa Hinawa for recruiting Maki into the Special Fire Force.

He presents himself as a reliable officer who takes his duties seriously.

However, when he talks to his girlfriend on the phone, his attitude suddenly becomes childish and lighthearted.

He sees Hinawa as a rival or enemy figure, not because of personal hatred, but because Hinawa “stole” Maki into a dangerous profession.

Takigi Oze is a pyrokinetic with the power to manipulate flames.

During an investigation into a mysterious foul odor incident, Takigi takes part in an underground inquiry.

While on this mission, he is caught in a suicide attack carried out by members of the Evangelist’s faction.

Although he barely escapes with his life, he sustains severe injuries.

Despite these heavy wounds, he survives and later returns to active involvement in joint operations.

Following his recovery, Takigi joins a joint investigation conducted by Company 2 and Company 8 of the Special Fire Force.

During this cooperation, he ends up fighting side by side with Takehisa Hinawa, temporarily setting aside his hostility for the sake of the mission.

Maki Oze

Maki Oze is Takigi’s younger sister, and he is deeply attached to her.

Takehisa Hinawa

Takigi strongly resents Takehisa Hinawa, who persuaded Maki to join the Special Fire Force.

This leads him to “enemy-like” feelings toward Hinawa, at least on a personal level.
