Sandra

A grown mandragora girl. She appears to be about 5 or 6 years old, but her age is over 300 years. Her first-person pronoun is "watashi." Being a plant, she has a different perspective from animals. Mandragoras are just plants, but it is said that after 300 years, they start to speak and move like humans, and she is one who has become as the legend says. It is rare, as there are no such cases in the demon territory's registry. After taking her current form, she learned language near a human house and started wearing clothes by imitating humans. She sometimes mimics animal sounds to intimidate.

As a plant, herbivorous animals and insects are enemies. Additionally, being a mandragora, witches and elves were threats. To avoid danger, she lived in the garden of Beelzebub's mansion, which had turned into a sea of trees, but was pursued by Eno and the witches gathered by Eno, who were seeking an aged mandragora, and sought help from Azusa. Azusa decided to protect her because she couldn't leave Sandra, whom she saw as human, and because Sandra asked for help. Sandra came to live in the vegetable garden of the house on the plateau. However, since she immediately showed dislike towards Halkara and defiance towards Flatorte upon meeting them, Azusa told her that getting along with everyone else was a condition for living in the house on the plateau. Azusa also thought of her name, and since Sandra said she liked soil, she was named after "sand." She calls Azusa "Azusa."

Although she is likely older than Azusa, she is treated as the third daughter due to her tsundere nature, and Azusa treats her like a child who requires attention. Falfa and Shalsha treat her like a younger sister, teaching her reading, writing, and arithmetic, and she has become able to solve simplified math problems at the level of a university entrance exam, similar to Shalsha, who is more humanities-oriented. However, since Sandra is older, she sees the two as children.

Though she appears human, she is a plant, so her body is roots and her hair is leaves. Therefore, she cannot walk on the surface for long periods but can move by burrowing into the soil. Her clothes only get slightly dirty when she burrows or moves through the soil. She can drink water through her mouth, but initially didn't drink much as absorbing through her body is more efficient. Her internal structure seems different from animals, making digestion difficult, so she doesn't eat food and gains nutrients through photosynthesis. She loves sunlight above all and wakes up with the sunrise. She has also grown with fertilizer. Unlike Falfa and Shalsha, she can drink alcohol due to her constitution, but she cannot bathe as it would cause "root rot."

Although she has her own room, she mainly lives in the vegetable garden and doesn't participate in household chores since she doesn't eat, but she helps grow vegetables in the garden. In fact, with Sandra's arrival, delicious vegetables can now be grown. She also goes shopping in the village of Flata with Falfa and Shalsha.

Since her exact birth date is unknown, she celebrates her birthday on May 17th with Azusa, Falfa, and Shalsha.
