He is the father of Sasami Tsukuyomi. He attempted to cut off the tumor in order to steal only the “power of the Supreme God,” but was stopped by Tsurugi Yagami.
He is also the younger brother of Juju Tsukuyomi. In his youth, he suffered from a sense of inferiority, feeling inadequate compared to his talented older sister. He often tried to run away from home to live in town, but Juju Tsukuyomi would always track him down and bring him back. Later, after Juju Tsukuyomi confessed her feelings to him, they became mutually affectionate, and following the birth of Sasami Tsukuyomi, he threw himself into training and grew to some extent. However, his cowardly nature from his younger days remained unchanged. Notably, after a raid by the Yagami sisters led to the loss of the Tsukuyomi Shrine and a failed attempt to reclaim the Supreme God’s power, he became lethargic and began living an apathetic life.
