Kadode Koyama

The protagonist of this work is one of a close-knit group of five friends. She has black short hair and wears glasses. In elementary school, she was bullied and nicknamed "Demon" because her name could be read as "Demon," which led her to become best friends with Ouran. Since then, they have also been "comrades-in-arms" playing FPS games. She is a fan of the nationally popular manga "Isobeyan" drawn by Isofla Bonjiro, and she wears its merchandise. She has had a crush on her teacher Naoki Watarase since high school and is always jokingly brushed off when she confesses her feelings. After progressing to Surume University, they started going out together occasionally. She once promised to marry Ouran's brother, Hiroshi, when they were in elementary school, but later bluntly withdrew the promise saying "I can't deal with a fat person," though their friendship continues. Both her parents were manga editors, but her father went missing after going to check on his company in Jimbocho during the "8.31" incident. Since then, she has distanced herself from her mother, who became deeply involved in civic activities.
