She developed a crush on Ryoma Echizen at first sight and has been his most ardent fan ever since. She respectfully refers to him as "Ryoma-sama" and even started the "Ryoma-sama Fan Club," declaring herself its president.

Role in the S&T Game Series
In the early "The Prince of Tennis" otome games, Tomoka acts as an information broker. Players can call her to get the birthdays and even the personal contact information of characters from other schools.
In the first game, she provides this information for free, as the protagonist is her childhood friend. However, in the second game, she demands a favor in return: she asks the player to spy on Ryoma, which uses up one of the player's free days.
This is a mandatory event in the second game. Even if the player doesn't call her, Tomoka will call and push the information on them, making the event unavoidable.
