Kazuki Kurusu

The protagonist is 28 years old and an assassin. He is carefree and cheerful, having grown up as a delinquent without knowing his parents. By chance, he ends up raising Miri and is forced to continuously deceive her. He handles all household chores, excels in cooking, and his packed lunches are well-received. Initially, he stopped working to focus on parenting, but due to financial needs, he resumes his job. As an assassin, he is top-notch with exceptional combat and physical abilities, but he often lacks motivation for various reasons and can lose fights. After Misaki's death, he quits the assassin life with Rei and opens a diner to raise Miri.
