Miri Unasaka

Even after growing up, Miri Unasaka’s face looks very similar to when she was little. This makes her look a bit mismatched for her age, which fans often find funny and sometimes use for jokes.

Miri is full of curiosity and energy, just like any young child. Sometimes, this causes trouble for the adults around her. She is friendly, gets attached to people easily, and especially loves spending time with Rei Suwa, who shares her love for video games.

Miri is actually the daughter of a mafia boss, Atsushi Hayami. By mistake, Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa end up killing her father. Miri, however, is unaware of what really happened to her family and does not know about their connection to her father’s death.

Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa become Miri Unasaka’s guardians by chance. She is only four years old when she starts living with them, not knowing that they accidentally killed her real father, who was the boss of a mafia.

Time With Her Mother

For a short time, Miri lives together with her real mother, Misaki Unasaka. Sadly, Misaki dies, and Miri returns to live with Kazuki and Rei.

High School Years

When Miri grows older and becomes a high school student, she begins to understand that Misaki has died. Even so, she truly believes that Kazuki and Rei are her real family, and she is happy with them.

Miri has a strong love for games and gets along well with Rei Suwa because of it.

Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa are like fathers to Miri, and she feels they are her true family. She loved her real mother, Misaki Unasaka, and misses her after she passed away.

Miri’s unchanging face, even as she grows older and taller, makes her look both cute and a bit odd, which has become a well-known joke among fans.
