She has a cunning and calculating nature, but she's ultimately a typical small-time villain who lacks real courage.

Eruka is easily intimidated and tends to get swept along by those more powerful than her.

She is plagued by bad luck and rarely experiences any good fortune.

Due to her position, she is frequently bullied and used as a scapegoat by Medusa Gorgon.

Despite her predicament, Eruka sometimes shows a girly side, dreaming of meeting a "prince on a white horse" or crying in fear of the Kishin.

While warlike like most witches, she isn't purely evil and has shown a conscience, feeling guilty for deceiving her friend Mizune for a mission.

Eruka adores her flying tadpole familiar, "Tadpole Jackson."

She becomes genuinely angry if anyone mistreats him.

Originally, Eruka disliked Medusa Gorgon and plotted with her partner, the mouse witch Mizune, to assassinate her.

The attempt failed spectacularly, and Medusa turned the tables on her.

To ensure her loyalty, Medusa implanted several magical snakes inside Eruka's body.

These snakes can tear her apart from the inside on Medusa's command, forcing Eruka into servitude.

Magic

Eruka can transform into a frog, a skill she often used to infiltrate Death City.

Her primary offensive magic involves creating living tadpole-shaped bombs called "Tadpole Bombs," which she uses for sabotage.

She can also summon "Tadpole Jackson," a giant tadpole that she can ride for transportation.

Interestingly, freshly made Tadpole Bombs are noted to be less powerful.

Eruka is surprisingly skilled in mathematics and can perform advanced "Magic Calculation" spells.

This, along with her ability to use high-level magic like "Soul Protect," suggests she is a high-ranking witch, second only to the likes of Medusa.

Her calculation magic is a perfect match for the powerful witch Free.

She can help him control his powerful spatial magic, which he struggles to manage on his own.

Servitude to Medusa

Eruka's story begins with a failed plot to eliminate Medusa Gorgon, which resulted in her being captured and blackmailed.

Forced to become Medusa's gofer, she carries out various tasks under the constant threat of the deadly snakes inside her.

Infiltration and Sabotage

During Medusa's schemes to revive the Kishin, Eruka was often the one on the front lines.

She infiltrated Death City frequently in her frog form and used her Tadpole Bombs for destructive missions.

A New Master

After the battle for the Kishin's revival, Eruka believed she was finally free from Medusa's control.

However, her hopes were dashed when a resurrected Medusa found her and roped her back into her plans.

Following the DWMA's battle with Arachne, Eruka was captured by Black☆Star during a fight between Medusa and the DWMA.

She was then taken to the DWMA and held as a hostage.

An Unlikely Alliance

While held at the DWMA, Eruka was enlisted to help in the fight against Asura.

She participated in the plan to disrupt the Kishin's madness by using her "Magic Calculation" to support The Grand Witch and Free's spatial magic.

In the final battle, she became one of the very first witches to fight alongside the DWMA as an individual ally.

This act helped pave the way for a new era of cooperation between the two groups.

In fan communities and on art sites, her character is most often tagged simply as 'Eruka.'

A popular fan-made tag for her is "Erukawaii," a blend of her name and the Japanese word "kawaii" (cute).

This tag arose from her cute frog-inspired design, her quirky mannerisms, and her endearing role as a perpetual gofer who gets pushed around by everyone.
