Falsetto

Falsetto is a young man with striking pink eyes and equally vivid pink hair.

He typically shows dark circles under his eyes, giving him a somewhat tired look.

His usual attire changes throughout the story:

• Early on, his clothing is simple, but after gaining power, he gains bone-like shoulder decorations and a clef mark on the left side of his face.
• In his final, powered-up form, he wears a half-mask, black bone-like parts wrap around his body, and his outfit features a feathery cape.

Though his build doesn't change much, his appearance becomes more intimidating and flamboyant after each transformation.

Falsetto generally behaves in a reserved and polite manner, referring to himself as "Boku" (I) and using careful speech.

He can often be seen sighing or making disapproving faces at his teammates' arrogance or squabbling.

Despite appearing timid, he occasionally gets excited over fun activities, revealing a lighthearted and playful side.

He often tries to mediate conflicts among his colleagues but rarely takes initiative in leadership disputes—this sometimes results in him losing the chance to be the leader altogether.

Falsetto is proud of his high-register singing abilities and reacts with clear disdain if anyone criticizes his voice.

He dislikes low-pitched voices and, if given the chance, would ban them—although he makes an exception for Bassdrum's singing.

After his transformation, Falsetto becomes domineering, refers to himself as "Ore," and forces others to address him with honorifics, displaying a more intense and ruthless personality.

Falsetto is a member of Trio the Minor, enemy executives from "Suite PreCure♪".

He is tasked with delivering powerful high notes but is often overshadowed by the other members, especially leader Siren and the assertive Bassdrum.

Throughout much of the story, Falsetto is seen as being unlucky or pitiable, frequently sidelined during important scenes or losing speaking roles to others.

In his ordinary form, Serene, the cat-like Siren, is often perched on his head, plucking at his hair when enraged.

Falsetto is skilled in high-register singing, possessing impressive musical power despite often feigning off-key performances.

Upon gaining power from Mephisto, he can emit pink, energy whip-like restraints from his hands to bind opponents.

In his most enhanced form, Falsetto can generate tornadoes, split his whips into multiple lashes for flexible attacks, and withstand finishing moves from the PreCure, demonstrating exceptional defensive skills.

He can also call upon Neghatone monsters as needed.

• Mephisto: Initially serves Mephisto loyally, but betrays him when siding fully with Noise.
• Noise: Shows extreme loyalty, focusing his efforts solely on Noise’s revival and goals.
• Trio the Minor: Usually distances himself from leadership infighting but mediates between Baritone and Bassdrum. After his transformation, he forces his colleagues to use honorifics when addressing him and is unpopular for his domineering attitude.
• Siren: Frequently sits on Falsetto’s head and tugs at his hair, especially when angry.
• PreCure: As their adversary, his relationship is antagonistic but ultimately resolves with him apologizing for his actions after being purified.

• "Falsetto" means "false or artificial voice," foreshadowing his transformation and hidden nature.
• He is often the butt of jokes, with less screen time than other villains and being comically unlucky.
• Known for losing hair due to Siren’s temper tantrums on his head.
• Despite his respectful tone, he harbors a deep pride and sensitivity about his singing.

Supporting Role in Trio the Minor

Falsetto starts as the high-tone singer in the villainous Trio the Minor, supporting Siren and Bassdrum.

He mediates between his often-arguing companions, showing little interest in their fight for leadership and often losing out as a result.

Sirene is frequently seen riding on Falsetto’s head and pulling his hair when upset.

Transformation and Betrayal

In Episode 36, after Mephisto breaks free from Noise’s control, Falsetto dramatically changes both physically and emotionally, shocking viewers.

He reveals himself as a hidden agent working for Noise, harshly telling Mephisto he is no longer necessary and announcing the true plan: reviving Noise.

As the new leader of Trio the Minor, his speech becomes rough, and he demands respect from his colleagues.

Serving Noise and Final Downfall

Falsetto devotes himself entirely to Noise, resorting to any means to ensure his success.

However, during the final episodes, his overprotectiveness towards an injured Noise annoys the villain, resulting in Falsetto being absorbed by Noise himself.

His intense loyalty—once an asset—leads to his own downfall.

Resolution and Redemption

In the final episode, after the PreCure’s efforts purify Noise, Falsetto’s mind is freed.

He returns to his former gentle persona, speaks in a polite tone again, and sincerely apologizes for his actions during Noise’s reign.

Even after his transformations, it is shown that Falsetto’s true nature is kind and caring, not villainous at heart.
