Nodoka Toyohama

Birthday - March 14th, Blood Type - Type A, Height - 158cm

The heroine of Volume 4. First appeared in Volume 3. Mai's half-sister. She has her blonde-dyed hair in a side ponytail. A rising idol and a member of "Sweet Bullet," affectionately called "Dokachan." She is a sophomore at Sakuraba Academy, a prestigious girl's school in Yokohama.

Acknowledged by herself and others as a sister complex, her official agency profile lists "Mai Sakurajima" as her favorite. Since she persistently told her parents she wanted a sister as a child, she looked up to Mai, who was already making her debut in the entertainment industry, as her "cherished big sister." Mai has complex feelings towards her, seeing her as "the daughter of the woman her estranged father remarried," but Nodoka's fan letters became an emotional support for the busy Mai.

Like her sister, she is spirited and even somewhat short-tempered. Her behavior towards Sakuta is often prickly, but her core personality is good, and she appreciates and understands Sakuta's character, who helped her during her puberty syndrome. Although she tries to keep Sakuta from monopolizing Mai, she hopes their relationship goes well for Mai's sake and often cooperates with Sakuta. Nodoka has also asked Sakuta to support Mai and Uzuki Hirokawa and eventually becomes close with Kaede.

Used as a pawn in her mother’s proxy war, striving to meet her mother's expectations by becoming a renowned celebrity like Mai, she continued her idol activities and studies. However, this pressure led to arguments with her mother, prompting Nodoka to run away and take shelter in Mai's apartment. After experiencing puberty syndrome and various upheavals, she decides to move in with Mai.

Despite asking Sakuta to cook, she is inept at household chores and has a gal-like demeanor due to her dyed hair and other aspects. Yet, she is smart and attends a high-ranking school, even teaching Sakuta and Futaba how to study.

In Volume 9, she advances to the same municipal university's international studies department as Sakuta and Mai. She continues her idol activities while at university and begins to be recognized as a smart honors student, contrary to her appearance.
