Kotomi Kano

First appeared in Volume 5. When Sakuta and the others were living in an apartment in Yokohama City, she lived on the floor above and was Kaede's childhood friend from kindergarten, calling each other "Kae-chan" and "Komi-chan." Even after Sakuta and Kaede moved, she continued to live in the suburbs of Yokohama City. She now wears glasses.

She was bright and capable of doing anything better than others, which helped the clumsy Kaede. They were in the same class for six years in elementary school, but were in different classes in middle school, where Kaede was bullied, and she regrets not being able to do anything about it.

When there was a scandal in the news about Mai having a boyfriend, she realized that Sakuta was Mai's boyfriend and visited Minegahara High School to ask Sakuta about the current situation with Kaede. Later, she learns from Sakuta that the current Kaede has lost her memory.

After Kaede's memory returned, they met again and revived their friendship. She also starts going to Sweet Bullet concerts with Kaede.
