Deus Ex Machina

The god of time and space, known as the King of Time and Space. His appearance is extremely large with a face resembling a mask. He was supposed to be a fictional entity imagined by Yukiteru, but he actually exists. He often seeks stimulation in the world by opening games, and he is the host of the current survival game involving the Future Diaries. His lifespan is nearing its end, and his body is beginning to collapse. He is betting on "Yukiteru" to be the winner of the game, though it is unclear what exactly he is betting.

Towards the end, he transfers half of his power to Minene, entrusting her to stop Murmur from interfering unfairly, but this accelerates his collapse, and Murmur reduces him to just a core. In the third timeline, his lifespan is also near its end, and he entrusts the second timeline's god, Yukiteru, who was summoned to the third timeline, to take over. He is rather mean-spirited, as he hides the fact that resurrected bodies are just soulless flesh and that the survival game will still occur even if they go back in time, as Deus's death is imminent.
