Glen Markham

An imperial soldier and a friend of Wein from his officer academy days. His name first appears in Volume 2, with a full-fledged appearance in Volume 4. A young man from a long line of imperial warriors, he was one of Wein's mischievous friends during their academy days and the first person to defeat Wein, who had top grades in almost every subject. He has a strong and resolute personality typical of his warrior lineage and high aptitude as a soldier. He currently belongs to the Baldrosh faction. During his academy days, he stood out with his sword skills, but feeling a sense of crisis about his stagnation and the complacent environment around him, he sought an environment where he could grow. He regarded Wein, who surpassed him in all subjects, as a worthy rival and began to act alongside him.
