Examinee number 53. Phantom Beast Hunter. Passed the 287th Hunter Exam.

A young man who uses a bow and arrow, wearing a turban. He is also skilled in handling drugs. He possesses high skills in hunting, and his performance up to the fourth phase of the exam was better than Killua's. He is small in stature and not good at direct combat. In the final exam, he was easily subdued by Hanzo in the first match and gave up. In the next match, Killua forfeited, saying, "I don't feel like fighting you," resulting in a win by default and passing the exam.

Reappears in the Chimera Ant arc. He goes to NGL with his companions (Ponzu and two others) to investigate and exterminate the Chimera Ants, but all his companions are killed, and he is captured as food after being poisoned with a neurotoxin by a Chimera Ant soldier. He attempts to escape using an antidote hidden in his molar but is discovered by Neferpitou. In the end, his brain is directly manipulated with a needle, all his knowledge about Nen is extracted, and he is killed, becoming food for the Queen.

In both the old and new anime versions, his journey with Ponzu is depicted.

Poison Arrow

An arrow coated with a fast-acting paralyzing drug. Even a scratch can make it impossible to walk properly for a week. Defeated Kyu in the fourth phase of the exam. Unrelated to Nen abilities.

Rainbow

An ability that creates a bow by stretching an aura string between two fingers and shoots aura transformed into arrow shapes. There are seven types of arrows, each with different powers depending on the color of the aura. Only two colors were used in the story: red (burning) and light (fast). A composite ability involving multiple Nen categories, releasing transformed aura.
