Examinee number 294. Passed the 287th Hunter Exam. 18 years old. A jonin of the covert group Kumogakure-ryu. A bald-headed ninja from Jappon. His name in kanji is "Hanzo." Became a Hunter to search for the secret "Book of Hermits." His weapon is a dagger hidden in his forearm. He has a cheerful and sociable personality, often initiating conversations and handing out business cards to promote himself. As a ninja, he is also a serious realist and does not consume food or drink given by others. During the final phase of the 287th exam, he received the highest evaluation alongside Gon from Netero and learned Nen abilities ahead of Gon and the others. In the Chairman Election and Alka arc, he visits Gon. In the Dark Continent arc, he is tasked with guarding the 12th Prince Momoze at Kurapika's request. However, due to Queen Sevanche's orders, he is reassigned to guard Marayam, and during this lapse, Momoze is killed, leaving him with a sense of guilt.

Hanzo Skill 4: Duplication Technique

The range of action is unknown, but within that range, flight and material penetration are possible. To deactivate the ability, the duplicate must return to the main body. If the main body is touched or spoken to, the ability is forcibly deactivated.
