A second-year student at Itachiyama Academy, wearing jersey number 13. He is rated as the top high school libero. He is cousins with Sakusa.

A member of the All-Japan Youth National Training Camp. He has a friendly personality and even approaches Kageyama in a friendly manner.

He belongs to the V.League Division 1 team EJP Raijin, along with Washio (from Fukurodani) and Tsumane (from Inarizaki), and was worried about whether Sakusa would fit in with the team. He has been selected for the Japanese national team for the Tokyo Olympics.
