Kouji Kouda

A male student with a physique and appearance resembling a rock. His parents have horns, and it seems that Kouji will also grow them as he matures.

Despite his appearance, he is shy and not good at speaking. He rarely converses vocally and communicates his intentions through gestures similar to sign language. For this reason, even the usually reticent Fumikage Tokoyami describes him as "taciturn," but he becomes talkative when calling out to creatures using his "Quirk." He has a fear of insects.

During the preparation for the school festival, he encouraged Kyouka Jirou, who lacked confidence in her hobbies, and became more proactive in expressing his opinions.

In the dorm, he keeps a rabbit named "Yuwa," who is called "Cute-chan" and is popular among the girls.

His self-devised hero name is "Anima," the Contact Hero.

"Quirk": Animal Voice

He can control any living creature, except those made from inorganic materials, by imbuing his voice with intent (the specifics of this Quirk related to living creatures are mysterious). His way of speaking becomes grandiose during these times. Kouji is so afraid of insects that he nearly faints at the sight of an ant, but after overcoming this fear, he can call on them for cooperation.

In the second decisive battle, horns grew from his head, but according to his mother, "the horns have the power to convey feelings to animals even at distances where voices cannot be heard," and simply by thinking, the animals immediately act on his commands.
