Ludovic Chardard

Sakuno Ryuzaki

He fell in love with Sakuno at first sight, calling her "Cerisier." He gave her a ride on his horse, an honor he claimed was reserved only for the person he would spend his life with.

Ryoma Echizen

Ludovic views Ryoma as his primary rival, fueled by Sakuno's feelings of admiration for the latter. Their dynamic sets up a thematic clash between the "Prince of Ace" and the series' own "Prince of Tennis."

Leopold Camus de Charpentier

First Encounters

Before the official tournament, Ludovic faced Ryoma Echizen in an unofficial match. The two engaged in a unique "Horseback Tennis" duel, which ended in a draw.

U-17 World Cup

Ludovic was matched against Ryoma in Singles 3 during the quarterfinals. He completely dominated the opening, winning every point with a single shot and taking the first two games in just 90 seconds each.

However, he soon began to struggle against Ryoma's "Shining Ball." After the match was paused for Ryoma's injury, it evolved into a tense battle, but Ludovic was ultimately narrowly defeated.

During a later match between Japan and France, Ludovic was seen riding his horse out of the stadium, presumably to search for Sakuno, and has not appeared since.
