At the Human Auction, he is furious when Saint Charloss is punched by Luffy D. Monkey and shoots his cane rifle, but Sanji kicks the weapon away.
Saint Roswald then tries to call for an admiral, promising that if the Straw Hat Crew is captured, he will stuff the girls and starve the boys as slaves.
Just then, Usopp accidentally falls from above and lands on him, knocking Saint Roswald out and leaving him badly hurt.
Reverie Arc
Saint Roswald returns to help his son Saint Charloss after Charloss is seriously hurt by Donquixote Mjosgard.
He arrives riding a "perfect" slave, Bartholomew Kuma, who does not make a sound no matter how much he is hit or stabbed.
Saint Roswald and his son try to catch Shirahoshi, but right before their eyes, Sai and Leo smash Charloss flat again.
