Spinel Sun

Spinel Sun is a servant created by Eriol, introduced in the Sakura Card Arc. In his usual form, he is a black cat with emerald-colored eyes and small wings. His symbol is the sun. His true form is a black panther with emerald-colored spotted butterfly wings, which is slimmer than Keroberos's true form. His tail spirals three times near the tip. He is affectionately called "Suppi," but Sakura refers to him as "Spinel-san."

He usually speaks in a polite manner, is calm and thoughtful, but becomes intoxicated and loses his composure when he eats sweets, leading to childish behavior, which is why he dislikes sweets. In battle, he can emit a red beam-like light from his mouth (blue in 'CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2') and create shockwaves that destroy the ground. In the second movie, it is suggested that he is Keroberos's rival in a video game.

In the Clear Card Arc, he initially remained in England but returned to Japan with Ruby to replenish Keroberos and Yue's magical power with Eriol's magic. To stay close to Keroberos, he lodges at Sakura's house, forcing him to pretend to be a stuffed animal in front of others.
