He harbors strong distrust towards the Vice Chairman faction and the Examination Department, who prioritize self-preservation and have a different perspective from those on the field. He possesses accurate judgment derived from experience and skill, and always approaches battles with composure. His principle is to "fight with the determination to win 100%" against any opponent, and he is not intimidated even by Royal Guard-class enemies. He has absolute confidence in his lung capacity. He uses a large smoking pipe as a weapon, and his ability, Deep Purple, is also activated through the pipe. His skill level is such that he can produce a maximum of 216 smoke puppets, with a total aura amount of 70,000, greatly surpassing the 20,000 aura amount of an average mid-level professional hunter. There is a possibility that he could become a Three-Star Hunter quickly due to the Chimera Ant Extermination.

In the extermination operation, he is responsible for diverting Neferpitou's manipulated soldiers and consecutively defeats squadron leaders like Cheetu and Leol. However, he was severely exhausted from consecutive battles (at 35% of his usual condition). Even so, he cuts into the palace invasion operation and engages in a solo battle with Shaiapouf. A manipulation-type ability that allows him to freely transform and control smoke generated from his beloved pipe. He can create dummies of any object, making it difficult to distinguish from the real thing by appearance (though the texture is different, so it can be discovered upon touch). Its versatility is extremely high, and Morel himself boasts, "I've never seen an ability more adaptable than Deep Purple." Although it is smoke, it can solidify and absorb physical attacks with the fluidity of smoke, making it indestructible, and it is particularly powerful as an ability to restrain enemies (creating unbreakable ropes, enclosed spaces, etc.).

Deep Purple
