A middle-aged man with a beard and a stern appearance befitting his position and status. However, his true personality is not so rigid, and he has a soft spot for his wife Frances and daughter Elizabeth. He is fond of his nephew Ciel, seeing him as a son for the future.

He graduated from Weston College and is actually a year younger than Vincent. He belonged to the Sapphire Owl dormitory and served as a fag to Diedrich when Vincent and Diedrich were prefects.
